The Supervisory Board of Cognis, Düsseldorf, Germany, has appointed Paul Allen, executive vice president, Functional Products, Stephane Baseden, executive vice president, Nutrition & Health, and Richard Ridinger, executive vice president, Chemicals, to the Management Board. Mr. Allen has been head of Cognis’ Strategic Business Unit (SBU) Functional Products since 2006, and president of Cognis Corp. in the U.S. since 2004. Mr. Baseden has been responsible for the SBU Nutrition & Health since 2005.
